The primary goal of the Summer Work and Travel Program is to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
Premier Aquatics provides university students from abroad with a chance to experience American culture, while offering temporary work in the U.S. as a means to offset their travel and living expenses.
Participants of the Summer Work Travel Exchange Program have truly unique opportunity learn the American culture and traditions during the summer. The Summer Work Travel program in general not only benefits employees, but also their employers and the host communities in which they live and work.
All international employees of Premier Aquatics have the opportunity to:
Experience American culture
Work up to 4 months at our swimming pool facilities located in Washington D.C. and the surrounding D.C. Metro area suburbs.
Interact with American families visiting our swimming pools.
Live side by side with residents of the D.C metro area at the move in ready apartments provided by Premier Aquatics.
Share their cultural traditions with the residents and guests of Premier Aquatics' managed facilities.
Work with American lifeguards (Swim Club Pools)
Gain relevant work experience within an American business.
Participate in company organized events like volunteering, Lifeguard Olympics, End of the Season party, Paintball, etc.
Earn money to support life in the Washington D.C metropolitan area and have the possibility to travel the United States before returning to their home country to continue their studies.
By participating in the Summer Work and Travel program, Premier Aquatics is able to offer an extraordinary service experience to their clients.
All Summer Work Travel participants working at our facilities are:
Carefully selected during our overseas face-to-face interview process.
Undergraduate students studying various majors at universities located in Europe, Asia and South America.
Professionally trained lifeguards.
