Will I get paid overtime?

Yes. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular salary for every hour worked over 40 hours in a week.

How much money will I make?

Premier Aquatics cannot guarantee how much money you will make.  You can use the following formula to make an estimate: 40 hours/week  x  $9/hour  + 5-10 hours/week  x $12.5/hour  x number of weeks you will work

Will someone meet me at the airport?

A representative from Premier Aquatics will pick you up from the airport if you fly to either Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Reagan National Airport (DCA). You should be prepared to wait up to 4 hours at the airport.

How far away is my apartment from my job?

The location of your house will vary, depending on your job assignment. The distance varies from less than one mile and goes up to 6 miles.

What happens if I don’t pass the swim test?

You will have 2 chances to swim on the day of the test. If you do not pass on the day of the test, you will be advised to search for another position.

Can I change my job after I arrive in the U.S.A?

No. You are obligated to work for the employer with whom you signed a contract.

Can I find a 2nd job?

Yes. You are permitted to find a 2nd job, as long as this job does not interfere with your job performance at Premier Aquatics.

Can I change housing?

No. You are obligated to live in the housing provided by Premier Aquatics.

In which city will I live?

We cannot guarantee the exact city where you will live. You will be assigned to an apartment within an approximate 80 mile radius of Washington, D.C.

Can I arrive later than my job offer start date?

No. Your job offer is valid only for the dates indicated. If you arrive later than the job offer start date, you will not be guaranteed a position with Premier Aquatics.

How long can I work?

Every student has a different set of circumstances. The job end date will be determined based on DS-2019 dates as well as each individuals availability.
